  • What width of ring should I pick?
The width of the ring is really up to your personal preference. There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to choosing your ring width, it all depends on what you will find comfortable. 4mm rings are about the same width as 2 nickels stacked. 6mm rings are about the same width as 3 nickels stacked. 8mm rings are about the same width as 4 nickels stacked.
  • How should I choose my sea glass for my jewelry?
When selecting sea glass for your jewelry, please keep in mind that pale colors often lose their intensity when broken into smaller pieces. We recommend choosing stronger, more vibrant colors for a more pronounced effect. However, the choice is entirely yours! If you prefer a delicately colored piece, pale colors will achieve that beautifully. This is especially important to consider if you are interested in a tungsten piece, as the darker hue of the metal affects light reflection making the glass appear less intense.
  • How do I care for my jewelry?
The greatest determining factor to your piece's lifespan is the care it receives on a regular basis. Each piece is a unique individual work of art & should be treated carefully. Below are the recommended care instructions to make your jewelry last longer, and bring you many years of great satisfaction. Removing the piece of jewelry at the right time in particular circumstances will avoid unwanted scratches and breakage. This pertains to all types of jewelry including ones made from durable, and scratch resistant materials. It is always recommended to remove your jewelry when you are involved in sport activities, swimming, bathing, lifting heavy objects, yard work or handling chemicals. High-quality, strong jewelry pieces can get damaged from involvement in such activities. Gold and silver pieces should also be polished on a regular basis to avoid tarnishing.

These rings cannot be resized so ensuring you order the correct size is very important. The most accurate way to get sized is by going to jewelery store (almost every store will measure your size at no cost). If you are local we will gladly meet with you to measure your size as well. If neither of those are an option for you, then you can purchase a ring sizing zip tie on our site HERE If you choose to measure yourself using a ring sizing zip tie, please ensure you read it carefully and the sizer can be taken on and off without moving up or down in size.
  • What should I consider when picking the material for my piece?
Each material has benefits depending on how often you plan to where your jewelry and how well it is cared for. Tungsten is of the strongest metals available for jewelry and is incredibly scratch resistant. It also does not tarnish and is hypoallergic so it is safe for those with sensitive skin. if you are considering a sea glass ring please note, tungsten’s darker hue can sometimes make inlaid sea glass appear less vibrant compared to stainless steel or sterling silver. The contrast with the dark metal affects the light reflection, but rest assured, the quality and craftsmanship are still exceptional. Stainless steel is more lightweight than tungsten, tarnish resistant, and hypoallergenic. Stainless steel is scratch resistant, but not as strong as tungsten. Black and white zirconia is a lightweight ceramic material that is naturally hypoallergenic. It does not tarnish over time and holds its shine for many years. They are scratch resistant, but are somewhat brittle and can break if they are dropped and hit hard. Sterling silver is scratch resistant, but not as strong as stainless steel or tungsten. It is also prone to tarnishing without proper care. However, it is hypoallergenic and has a beautiful shine when polished regularly. Gold pieces are durable but can scratch somewhat easily. It requires less polishing than silver to keep its shine, but should still be polished regularly to increase the life of the piece. Gold can occasionally cause allergic reactions in those who with very sensitive skin. Gold-plated pieces are strong durable metals, like tungsten, with a coating of gold on top to give the appearance of gold, making them much more affordable than true gold. However, the coating is prone to scratches, chipping, and tarnishing. If you really like the colour of gold pieces but are hesitant to spend the amount that gold costs gold-plated pieces can be a great option given that the wearer is careful with their jewelry.
